Claude Code for development teams: from licences to real speed

Licences bought, but the team still codes the old way? Usually it is not the model. Claude Code does not know your architecture, style and constraints until someone explains them. We set up the repository, rules and process so the agent works like a strong new engineer on your team, not a chat on the side.

• CLAUDE.md and project rules — architecture, build and test commands, style, what must never be done. Short and specific.
• Permissions and security — which commands the agent runs on its own, which it asks about, which files and secrets it never touches.
• Subagents and skills — separate roles for review, tests, migrations, documentation; recurring workflows turned into ready commands.
• Hooks — linter, formatting and tests after every change, so the agent sees and fixes its own mistakes.
• MCP — access to the issue tracker, a test database, documentation (more about MCP).
• CI and code review — Claude Code in GitHub Actions or GitLab CI: first-pass pull request review, fixes on comment, small tasks from tickets.

How implementation works

1. Repository and process audit (1–2 days): stack, tests, CI, where the team loses time.
2. Pilot with one team (2–3 weeks): rules, subagents, hooks, pairing with developers.
3. Measurement. Ticket-to-merge time, review time, test coverage — before and after.
4. Scaling to other teams and an internal playbook.

Do we need a separate licence?

On Team, Enterprise and the API — no, by default.

How much faster will the team get?

It depends on the codebase and the tasks. That is why we record metrics before the pilot and show real numbers after, instead of promising "10x".
